谷歌（Google）表示，該公司將與Jigsaw啟動Perspective計畫，透過AI人工智慧技術學習網路上各種「毒舌言論」，透過深度學習後，獲得「評論能力」，再化身網路管理員，進一步可移除疑似為「網路霸凌」的仇恨字眼。為了讓網友能夠保有理性發言的空間，此套系統目前已經針對各大新聞平台實施測試，未來API也會免費推廣給各媒體使用。
Jigsaw總裁柯恩（Jared Cohen）23日在推特發表一篇名為「當電腦學會咒罵」的文章，裡面提及現代人成天觸碰網路，免不了想在網路上發表言論，由於人人都有言論自由，意見相反的網友就會tag你，彷彿指著你的臉咒罵一頓，雖然可以「離開現場」不看，不過通常這些言論足跡仍會留在網路上。他說，經調查有高達72%的美國人，曾親眼目睹過「網路霸凌」，近女錶推薦50%親身被霸凌，更有1/3的人因為害怕在網路上被指責，發文前還會不斷的審查自己的貼文。

柯恩認為，新聞或時事媒體都需要一個公開且理性的討論空間，網路霸凌過只會盛消弭公民的思想，甚至有些新聞媒體乾脆關掉留言功能。為此，他決定與Google共同啟動一個「Perspective計畫」，透過人工智慧技術，先讓機器自動學習網友的「毒舌評論」，再藉由「深度學習」後懂得對此言論「評分」，進而訓練為「應對」能力，例如刪文，或在使用者發表前，先提醒言論內藏有仇恨字眼。
他表示，未來這套API 應用程式也會免費提供給媒體與網路平台操作，人工智慧的學習成果會隨著這些「毒舌言論」日益進步，篩選目標也會越來越精準。此系統在去年九月就開始與紐約時報（The NewYork Times）共同測試，現在也加入經濟學人（The Economist）、衛報（The Guardian）、維基百科（Wikipedia）等媒體使用，網路上的理性對話指日可待。
